Wesley College's Bryan Robinson made a pair of tackles, including 0.5 for loss, to help Team USA to a 37-19 win over Mexico in the Aztec Bowl.

His tackle for loss came on a third down play in the first quarter, pushing Team Mexico back five yards and forcing a punt.  His other stop also came against the run, limiting Mexico to just a one-yard gain. 

Team USA is now 10-1 all-time in the series.

Robinson was the sixth Wolverine in school history selected to play in the game.  He joined former Wesley standouts Mario Harris (2006), Jimmy Kostack (2003), Jason Visconti (2001), Sean McCullin (1999) and Nate Casella (1997).

Robinson is a four-time first team All-ACFC selection and a two-time ACFC Defensive Player of the Year from Harrington, Delaware.  He is second on the team and 11th in the ACFC with 79 tackles.  He leads the conference in both tackles for loss (26) and sacks (11.5) to rank seventh and 14th nationally in those categories.  Robinson Wesley's all-time sacks leader with a 3.5 sack game against Newport News in a 50-7 Wesley win including sacks on back-to-back plays in the fourth quarter.  In addition to his 47 career sacks, he also holds the Wolverines' career mark with 92.5 TFL.

The Aztec Bowl is the traditional season-ending game for Mexico's college football schedule. The game has been played 36 times since 1947 with the last nine contests featuring the United States-Mexico match-up.
