The Wolverines have averaged 47.9 points and allowed just 6.8 during the 11 game series win streak...Sophomore tailback Mike Pennewell has rushed for 814 yards on just 104 attempts in 2007. He leads the ACFC in yards/game by over 56 yards per game (135.7) and rates 11th in Division III. More impressive, his yardage total on the ground is fifth in D3...Wesley turned in a record-setting day in a 45-0 win over Frostburg on October 6. The Wolverines set both a school and conference record with 676 yards. It was the seventh best single game total in Division III this season. That total was fueled by a Wesley record 411 on the ground...Three current Wesley players rank among the top 10 on the school's all-time touchdown reception list. Senior Michael Clarke needs just two more TD receptions to tie the school record and is currently tied for fourth career scoring grabs. Junior Larry Beavers is sixth with 19 career touchdown catches and Jon Lanouette, a senior, is tied for ninth with 13...Larry Beavers currently ranks sixth in Division III at 33.9 yards per kick return. Eric Lowry, who joins Beavers on kick return duties, is 28th in Division III at 26.5 ypr, and the team rates fifth at 27.76...he Wesley defense has been like in each of the past two weeks, shutting out Huntingdon (Ala.) on September 29 and Frostburg State on October 6. Over that span, the Wolverines have allowed just 199 yards of total offense combined in the two wins. It was the first time Wesley had registered shutouts in consecutive games since shutting out Apprentice and Husson in succession in 2003. The Wolverines held the Hawks to a negative two yards rushing, the lowest total for an opponent since holding SUNY Morrisville to minus-27 yards on November 11 of last season. Huntingdon also accumulated just 126 total yards. It was the team's best performance since Husson accumulated just 105 yards of offense on October 25, 2003. Wesley's dominance continued to grow last week when Frostburg State was held to just 73 total yards and five first downs. That was the fewest yards allowed since holding Apprentice to 67 yards on October 14, 2000, a span of 79 games...Both Mike Pennewell (160 yards) and Aaron Jackson (114) topped the 100-yard mark in Wesley's 45-0 win over Frostburg State on October 6. It marked the first time in 41 games that a pair of Wolverines reached triple digits in the same game. The last occurrence was a 40-7 win over Kean on September 25, 2004, when both Kevin Nelson (152) and Ken Busch (112) both went for 100+...Michael Clarke is just four catches shy of becoming the seventh Wolverine with 100 career catches. If he tallies those four catches, along with another 61 yards and one TD grab, Clarke will become just the fourth player in school history with 100 catches, 2,000 yards and 25 TDs...With 1.5 sacks in Wesley's win over Frostburg State a week ago, senior defensive end Bryan Robinson inched closer to Wesley's all-time sack record. His total tied him for second on the schools all-time charts, just three behind Ken Pippin's record of 44.
