The senior lineman recorded eight tackles (all solo), five tackles for a loss of 26 yards and two sacks for a loss of 16 yards in #8 Salisbury's 38-21 victory over Christopher Newport.  He was also credited with a quarterback hurry and helped a Salisbury defense limit CNU to 3.3 yards per carry.

ROOKIE

Kevin Mathews, Fr., SS, Frostburg State, Temple Hills, Md.

In just his second game, Mathews made six tackles, one interception and one pass breakup.  The interception was late in the third-quarter and set up the game-tying TD as Frostburg State defeated The College at Brockport 27-13 for the first victory over Brockport since 1999.

Honorable Mention: Jovan McCamey, Apprentice School.
