The USA Today Sports Weekly 2009 College Football Special Edition was released last week and the Atlantic Central Football Conference had two teams earn top 25 rankings.

Wesley College, the four-time ACFC champions, were ranked 11th in the preseason poll while Salisbury University was ranked 24th.  Both teams are coming off post-season appearances in 2008 as Wesley made the second round on the NCAA Division III Tournament and Salisbury won the ECAC Southwest Bowl over Moravian.

All in all, the conference will face four teams ranked in the USA Today preseason poll.  Frostburg State will face 10th-ranked Ithaca and 15th-ranked Washington & Jefferson in the season, Wesley and Salisbury will tangle with 21st-ranked Christopher Newport University while the Wolverines will also face 25th-ranked Delaware Valley.
