Larry Beavers Makes NFL Debut In Carolina's 24-17 Loss To New York Giants

NEW YORK - Former Wesley Wolverine Larry Beavers made his professional debut on Monday Night Football for the Carolina Panthers in a preseason game against the New York Giants.
Beavers, who entered the game in the second half, returned one kick for 24 yards, the longest of Carolina's four returns on the evening. He also had the Panthers' only punt return of the night, a three yarder.
In addition to his work on special teams, Beavers had a 24-yard catch during the two-minute drill in the fourth quarter from Hunter Cantwell that set up the game-tying touchdown.
The Giants would score a defensive touchdown at the buzzer to win 24-17.
