ACFC Week 6 Players Of The Week


 

ACFC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Josh Volpe, So., QB, Frostburg State, Germantown, Md.

The sophomore quarterback accounted for all three touchdowns for the Bobcats as they fell 23-19 to Randolph-Macon.  He threw for 188 yards and two touchdowns, completing 20-of-27 passes, while also running for one touchdown.

Honor Roll: Bryan Cain, Apprentice

 

ACFC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Jeremy Drayton, So., LB, Apprentice School, Orlando, Fla.

The senior linebacker had 11 tackles (9 solo) and one tackle for a loss as the Apprentice School fell 36-3 to NCAA Division II Lake Erie College.

ACFC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Christian Cook, Fr., WR,  Frostburg State, Reistertown, Md.

Caught a team-high five passes for 61 yards and a touchdown as the Bobcats fell 23-19 to Randolph-Macon.

 

ACFC SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Louis Norwood, Fr., DB, Apprentice School, Baker, La.

Became the third Apprentice School player in the last 25 years to block multiple kicks in a game as he swatted two extra-point attempts for the Builders in a 36-3 loss to Lake Erie College.
