ACFC Week 11 Honors


ACFC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Shane McSweeny, Wesley, Jr., QB, Bensalem, Pa.

Had a career-day in Wesley's 32-28 victory over NAIA #19 Ohio Dominican.  He completed 13-of-24 for 168 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for a career high 114 yards and one touchdown.  With Wesley down 11 in the fourth quarter, he threw a 38-yard touchdown pass to Sean McAndrew, threw a two-point conversion, then rushed for the winning score with just over two minutes to play.

ACFC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Jeremy Drayton, Apprentice, Jr., LB, Orlando, Fla.

Had 10 tackles (8 solo, 2 assisted) as the Builders held Southern Virginia to 284 yards of total offense in a 14-10 loss in the 60th annual Oyster Bowl.

ACFC SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Tommy Kowalick, Salisbury, So., K, Sterling, Va.

Averaged 59 yards per kickoff in Salisbury's 34-19 victory over Frostburg State in the Regents Cup game.

 

ACFC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Zachary Beukers, Frostburg State, Fr., K, Lusby, Md.

Kicked two field goals in Frostburg State's loss to Salisbury in the Regents Cup game.  He also had four kickoffs for a 53 yard average.
